exhibition Exhibition "Georgian Manuscripts in the UNESCO Memory of the World Register"
The Georgian manuscript, preserved in the National Archives of Georgia, was inscribed to the UNESCO Memory of the World Register for the third time in late 2017.
The originals and photo copies of the very manuscripts and historical documents that were inscribed to the international register since 2013 will be presented on the exhibition.
2017 – Gospel-palimpsest, 9th-10th, 12th-13th, 14th cc;
2015 – 8 ancient manuscripts;
2013 – Vakhushti Batonishvili's Atlas and "Description of the Kingdom of Georgia".
The exposition will provide the wide society with the opportunity to acquaint with all those Georgian documents that were granted with the world heritage status.
The exhibition will last for a period of one month and it's free of charge.

exhibition The Exhibition "Georgian Film in Photos" unifies the photos from the filming locations of the feature films shot in 1920-1980s.
Together with the cameramen, the shots of the films were taken by the photographers as well. That’s why we have not only the staged scenes, but the working process also.
Photos of more than 40 feature films are displayed on the exhibition. The films are as follows: "Cradle for Akaki" ("Akakis Akvani"), "First Day, Last Day" ("Dghe Pirveli, Dghe Ukanaskneli"), "An Unusual Exhibition" ("Arachveulebrivi Gamofena"), "Melodies of Vera Quarter" ("Veris Ubnis Melodiebi"), "When Almonds Blossomed" ("Roca Akvavda Nushi"), "Life of Don Quixote and Sanch" ("Tskhovreba Don Kikhotisa da Sanchosi"), "Blue Mountains, or Unbelievable Story" ("Tsisperi Mtebi, anu Daujerebeli Ambavi"), etc.
Attendance is free of charge.

    Vittorio Sella
    Curated by Giorgi Kakabadze
    Vittorio Sella (1859 -1943), an Italian photographer and mountaineer, was born in Biella, Italy.
    He acquired his interest in photography from his father, Giuzeppe Venanzio Sella and in alpinism from his uncle, Quintino Sella, scientist and politician, who was also the founder of the Italian Alpine Club.
    Rezo Tabukashvili, a documentary film director and translator, found and brought back the collection of pictures taken by Sella in Svaneti and Racha to the National Archive of Georgia in 1983. He found Sella’s works in Italy. The collection combines ethnographic portraits and landscapes taken in Svaneti and Racha, during Vittorio Sellas visit to Georgia. In the same collection there are two portraits of Vittorio Sella. One of them was taken during Georgian expedition, on another photo the photographer is older and the photo taken in Italy.

    The photo chronicle, created by Tengiz Utmelidze, reflecting the activities of the Georgian National Ballet “Sukhishvili” in 60-70s of the 20th century, is presented at the exposition.
    The photo chronicle depicts the tours of the ensemble, the meetings of the dancers with the worlds famous persons, the most successful period, named by Nino Ramishvili, one of the founders of the ensemble as “Golden Age”. The photo exhibition is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First Democratic Republic of Georgia. Attendance is free.
